The importance of immunity becoming more pronounced in light of the covid-19 outbreak, interest in health and immunity has increased. Indonesia has also facing the mandatory of halal product assurance law No. 33 year 2014 which was enacted since October 2019. Thus, this could create opportunity and challenge for stakeholders within pharmaceutical sectors to target consumers with more specialized and differentiated offerings to meet their need and following Indonesia regulation of halal product mandatory. 

IHATEC (Indonesia halal training and education centre) is back in collaboration with Ministry of Health, of Republic of Indonesia, LPPOM MUI, IFANCA and PT. Bio Farma (Persero) to host “Challenge of Halal Certification in the Pharmaceutcal Industry” virtual seminar to discuss these important issues.
